They’re perfect for: - One-way updates where you don’t want users to comment or post. - Sharing important information like new lessons, upcoming events, or community milestones. ### **How Does It Work?** - **You post:** Only you, the creator, can post messages in the Announcement Channel. - **Easy to switch:** If you want to allow comments, you can easily switch the channel to a regular one by turning off the "Only you can post here" toggle. - **You can convert Announcement channels into regular channels**, which allows users to post and comment. - **You cannot convert regular channels into Announcement channels**. ### **How to Use Announcement Channels** 1. Go to **Community β†’ Create New Channel** 2. In the channel settings, toggle the **"Only you can post here"**Β to **ON**. 3. Start posting updates for your users ### **When to Use Announcement Channels** - **Update your users**: Share new lessons, schedule changes, or live sessions. - **Promote events**: Announce upcoming webinars, workshops, or challenges. -
