App Store Connect API	Apple	Apple is making a small change to their API. If we’re using this particular functionality, we just need to modify our code slightly to prevent breaking the creation/updating of in-app purchases by our system. This is a regular occurrence, and we’ve been adjusting to Apple changes like this many times before.	No actions required
Updates to App Age Rating Information	Apple	There are new requirements for apps that contain purchasable loot boxes. To describe your app's content more accurately and comply with local laws, update your content descriptions in App Information.	(Article in progress)
Update your target API level no later than August 31, 2024 to publish updates	Google	Starting August 31 2024: New apps and app updates must target Android 14 (API level 34) to be submitted to Google Play (except for Wear OS and Android TV apps, which must target Android 13 or higher). Photo and Video Permissions	Google	Google is introducing new restrictions on how apps can access photos and videos on users' devices. For apps that require broad access to photos and videos, you'll need to go through a quick review process to maintain this level of access.	Submit a short declaration form. Digital Service Compliance	Apple	Apple is asking all developers to declare if they are traders or not under their digital services act.	Complete the requirement and declare if you are a trader or not. Follow steps HERE
Health and Fitness apps declaration	Google	In April 2024, Google announced that developers with apps that are in the Health and fitness or Medical categories on Google Play are required to complete the health apps declaration on the App content page (Policy > App content) in Play Console. Device Verification Requirements	Google	Starting in early 2024, developers with new personal accounts will be required to verify that they have access to a real Android mobile device using the Play Console mobile app before they can make their app available on Google Play.
