# Typeform Block

### Create a Typeform

1. Create your free account at [typeform.com](https://www.typeform.com).
2. Follow the steps to [build a form.](https://help.typeform.com/hc/en-us/categories/37272125667092-Building-a-form)
3. Copy the link for the form to add into the Typeform block.

### Find Your Typeform Link

1. Log in to [Typeform](https://www.typeform.com).
2. Open the form you want to use.
3. Click **Share** at the top center.
4. Copy the **public link** shown.

1. Go to **Content** and open the course, then the lesson.
2. On an empty line, press `/` (or tap the **+**) to open the block picker.
3. Search **“Typeform”** and select it.
4. Paste in your Typeform link.
5. (Optional) Toggle **Mandatory to complete** to require it for lesson completion.

When a Typeform is set as mandatory, the **Complete** button stays disabled until the form is submitted.

### Track Responses

When clients complete the Typeform in your app, their responses appear in your Typeform account under **Responses**.

To let clients receive their own answers, set up [Respondent Notifications in Typeform](https://help.typeform.com/hc/en-us/articles/13610123653396-Send-messages-to-your-respondents-or-yourself#h_01H28FCQ8KY9H91A8XNJAV49DE).

### Additional Options and Limitations

- **Other form tools:** The block is designed for Typeform links. Google Forms links may work in some cases, but they are not officially supported.
- **VideoAsk by Typeform:** You can embed VideoAsk links the same way. If your form uses video responses, instruct clients to allow mic and camera permissions. See Typeform's [VideoAsk guide.](https://help.typeform.com/hc/en-us/articles/4418345407892-Use-VideoAsk-and-Typeform-as-robust-research-tools)
- **Free account limits:** Review [Typeform’s free plan features](https://www.typeform.com/pricing) for details.
- **Future integrations:** We are continually improving Passion.io features and exploring additional form integrations.
