Lessons:

Use the full widget library: videos, images, text, quizzes, files, scheduling, Typeform surveys, live streaming, and more.

Ideal for: lengthy videos, detailed tutorials, downloadable resources, or interactive lessons.
Sequences:

Add additional features to video content like looping, countdown timers, or step-by-step exercises.

Ideal for: structured activities such as workouts, music, dance, art, or cooking.

Two main views:

List view: See all segments with descriptions.

Playlist: Click Start Now to play all segments in order.

What is a sequence?
A Sequence is a collection of exercises, clips, or steps arranged in a specific order. Users move seamlessly from one activity to the next, making learning or workouts more structured and efficient.
Even if youβre not a fitness creator, sequences can be used for any topic where step-by-step guidance or looping videos help users learn.
Adding a sequence

Go to your Admin View (App, Web App, or Passion.io App).

Select the course to which you want to add a sequence.

Click "+" at the top right and select Lesson/Sequence.

Choose Sequence as the content type.

Enter a Sequence Name (max 60 characters).

Add a Summary (max 70 characters; placeholder can be used if blank).

Optional: Set a Duration.

Choose the Course Section for placement.

Add your content: instructional video, playback video, or images.
To preview sequences from the client view, set it as a free lesson. Only direct video uploads are supported; YouTube links are not allowed.
Interactive vs. Timed Interactive Sequence
Interactive Sequence:

Running stopwatch timer.
-
Users click Next to proceed.
-
No sound alerts.
Timed Interactive Sequence:

Countdown timer.
-
Users cannot proceed until the timer ends.
-
Plays a beep when one second remains.
Timed and interactive widgets are separate. Remove any widget you donβt need before uploading content again.
Sequence Setup Tips

Title: Max 30 characters

Optional Image: Displayed only if itβs the only item in a step

Instructional Video: Provides guidance

Playback Video: Looped video (2β5 seconds recommended)

Duration (Timed Interactive only): Sets countdown timer
Images will not appear during playback if both an image and video are added to the same sequence step. Only one will display.
Reordering, Audio, and Video Notes

Rearranging Steps:

Mobile: Drag and drop.

Desktop: Click and hold the six vertical dots to move lessons.

Audio/Voice-Over: Only available in the instructional video. Looped playback videos are silent so users can listen to their own music.
