Set Up Your Community
- Enable the Community feature by going to My App > Navigation and toggling Community on.
- Tap on the Community tab (the speech bubble icon).
- Click +Add community.
- Customize the new community by adding a name, uploading a photo, and selecting which pricing plans will include access to this community.
- Under Advanced Settings, allow users to message you directly or each other directly.
- Click Create community to save.
Notes:

If messaging is disabled after an initial conversation, the message history stays visible but no new messages can be sent.

If direct messaging between members is enabled:

The Messages tab will display a Create message button.

The Members tab becomes available, allowing users to send direct messages to each other.

Create Channels
- Go to your Community tab (the speech bubble icon).
- Click Create Channel.
- Customize the new channel by adding a name, writing a short description, and uploading a photo.
- To make it an "Announcements Only" channel, toggle the Only you can post here to On.
- Click Create Channel to save.
Manage Your Channels
- To edit or delete a channel, select the ellipsis (β’β’β’) menu.
- To reorder, add numbers to the channel names and they will be sorted by number order.
Community Moderation
New members must agree to Terms & Conditions before joining a Community. Make sure you have these set up in line with what you want for your App.
Content Management
- Reporting: Members can flag inappropriate content. Approve or remove flagged comments.
- Auto-moderation: Content reported 3+ times is automatically hidden (you, the admin, can still see it)
- Blocking: Blocked membersβ comments are hidden and replaced with βMessage from a member you blocked.β Unblock from the "Blocked" tab if needed.
- Visibility control: Blocked content can still be revealed by tapping it.
Tagging & Mentions
Bring others into conversations:

Type @ or select the @ icon.

Choose members from the list.

Tag everyone with @channel.
When someone is tagged/mentioned, they will receive a notification if they have turned on the notification for this action.

Dot on the Channels tab

Notification badge on the community or channel row
Send and Receive Voice Notes
Create more personal connections with voice notes:

Tap and hold the microphone button.
-
Release to prepare the message.
-
Preview before sending.
-
Delete by holding and selecting Remove Message.
Limits: Maximum 5 minutes per message.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is the Community not available for some of my users?
Only users with an active membership to a plan that includes Community will see it.
Can I message my users privately?
Yes, through Messages. You can also automate them with Zapier.
Can my members see each other?
Only in threads. The Members tab is creator-only.
Can I use GIFs?
No. Only images and videos are supported.
My Community feature is missing. What should I do?
If all communities are deleted, the feature is deactivated. Please contact us to reactivate it.
