1. What is Goal Tracking?
Goal tracking makes your app fully interactive to boost your client’s motivation and results.
You choose the activities your clients should track, and they log their progress. You can help keep them on track.

3. How to set up Goal Tracking?

From your App, Web App, or Passion.io App, go to your Admin View.
- From My App, Go to Navigation.
- Tracking is the 4th option. You can rename it and change its icon on the App.
- Make sure the toggle for activation is on.
The Goal Tracking toggle is responsible for adding/removing the Tracking tab on your app.
Goal Tracking must be added to a Pricing Plan to appear to your selected audience.
- Go to your Pricing Plans, select the plan you want to add Goal Tracking or create a new one.
- Scroll down to mark the check box for Tracking.
- Save.
Once the Tracking toggle is active and the Tracking has been added to a Pricing Plan, the tab will be available to all members subscribed to that Pricing Plan.
4. How do I set up Tracking Activities & Events?
Setting up Tracking Events can be done from anywhere, given that you are logged in with your Passion.io Account:
- Your Apple/Google App.
- Passion.io App.
- Your Web App yourappname.passion.io
The below example is done from Passion.io App while logging in with your Passion.io account:
- Click on the + sign at the top right from the Tracking Tab.
- Add a Title, i.e., Stress Management Daily Check-in.
- Optional: add an Instruction on what your audience should use this event for.
- Limit Maximum Trackable Value: if you would like your audience to rate something from 1 to 10, then the maximum value is 10.
- If the Limit Maximum Trackable Value is turned off, the maximum limit would be automatically 999.
- Choose whether you would like your audience to see other users' entries.
- You can choose an Icon that properly represents your Tracking Event. Unfortunately, you won't be able to edit the icon choice in the future.
- Click on the checkmark (✔) to save your Tracking Event.
- You can check your audience inputs per Tracking Event, their notes, entries, etc.
- You can permanently delete a Tracking Event from the top right corner of any of your Events. Deleting them will permanently delete your audience's input.
Deleting all your existing tracking activities will automatically toggle the Goal Tracking feature off and deactivate it.
Leave at least one tracking activity active to avoid deactivating the feature.
Below is how it would look like to your audience. They can also perform the below actions:
- They can write notes for you with a maximum character limitation of 1000 characters.
- They can upload photos related to their progress or entry.

Image maximum size: less than or equal to 5MB

My Tracking feature is missing. What do I do?
You must have deleted all the tracking goals. This deactivates the Tracking feature. If you have accidentally deleted all tracking goals, please submit your request here so we can ask our Tech Team to activate the feature. However, please remember that even if our Team can restore the Tracking feature, previous check-ins will not be restored.

How do I edit the goal tracking I have created?
Editing goal tracking is not an available feature. You can delete the existing monitoring and create a new one.
Why is the Tracking Tab not available for some of my clients?
The Tracking tab will only become visible to clients with an active membership to the plan where the Goal Tracking is enabled.

Why can't I set up Tracking in my app? Or why is the Tracking tab not available in my app?
Make sure that you're logged in using your Passion.io email address. This allows you to see the tracking tab since this will only be visible to email addresses with an active subscription
Can I rearrange the order of my Tracking Events and Goals?
The tracking goals are arranged by the order of date creation, where the newest ones appear at the top of the list and the oldest at the end.
What is the maximum trackable number?
You can set any value when the Limit Maximum Trackable Value is switched on. When it is turned off, the default value is set to 999.
Can I add an image with my goal tracking?
Absolutely! You can press the camera symbol and choose to take a photo or select from your library. You can select one image per track.

Why does my Goal Tracking List get rearranged? Can I re-arrange the order myself?
The tracking List is designed to show the oldest goal created first. However, when creating a new goal on the list as an admin, it may be re-arranged and will be sorted correctly (oldest to the most recent goal created) once you refresh the page or access it as an end-user.
What is the maximum number of characters users can use in the notes as they input their Tracking?
The notes for users has a maximum character limitation of 1000 characters.
