# How to Manage In-app Purchases in Apple

### **1. How to add a Free Trial**

When users sign up for your plan with a free trial, their subscription begins immediately but they won’t be billed until the free trial period is over. You can select one of the following durations for a free trial: 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year.

### **2. How to Update Plan Price (Subscriptions)**

When you adjust the price of an auto-renewing subscription, what happens next depends on whether the price is going up or down.

- If the price goes up, users are notified of the increase before their next renewal. They must agree to the new price, or their subscription will expire.
- If the price goes down, the subscription continues without any extra steps for the user.
