# Ensure you Receive Emails from Passion.io

## Stay updated on important messages from the Passion.io team by following these steps. This guide ensures you don’t miss responses from our support team or notifications about your app business.

#### Why This Matters

Getting our emails quickly is crucial for smooth communication. By taking a few simple steps now, you can prevent delays, stay informed, and never miss important updates about your app business.

### Check your spam and promotions folders

Sometimes email filters can send important messages to the wrong folder.

- Look in your **Spam**, **Junk**, or **Promotions** folders for emails from `@passion.io`.
- If you find any, mark them as **“Not Spam”** or **“Safe”** so future emails go directly to your inbox.

✨ **Tip:** Some email providers like Gmail sort emails into **Promotions** by default. Drag emails from Passion.io into your **Primary** tab to make sure updates reach you first.

 

### Add Passion.io to your contacts or safe sender list

Adding our email addresses to your contacts ensures updates bypass spam filters. 

#### Gmail

1. Open an email from Passion.io
2. Hover over the sender's email address
3. Click **Add to Contacts**
4. Optional: Click the **star icon** to mark as Important

#### Yahoo Mail

1. Click the ellipsis (three dots) beside the **Spam** tab
2. Select **Add Sender to Contacts**
3. Fill in the required details and click **Save**

#### Outlook

1. Open an email from `instructor@passion.io`
2. Hover over the sender's email address
3. Click the ellipsis (three dots) and select **Add to Contacts**
4. Extra step: Click the ellipsis next to the **Forward** button and select **Add to Safe Senders**

✨ **Pro tip:** The extra Outlook step ensures emails from Passion.io **never end up in your Junk folder**.

### Adjust your email client settings

Certain email clients have rules or filters that can block emails.

- **Gmail / Google Workspace:** Check **Filters and Blocked Addresses**. Remove any filters that could affect Passion.io emails.
- **Outlook / Microsoft 365:** Look under **Junk Email Options** and **Safe Senders**.
- **Apple Mail / iCloud:** Verify **Rules** and **Blocked Senders**.

✨ **Good to know:** Some corporate email systems may block external emails. If you’re using a work email, ask your IT admin to whitelist `@passion.io`.
