We've launched multiple file upload functionality in Community. Users can now upload up to 8 files simultaneously instead of uploading them one by one, making it faster and easier to share complete stories and progress updates.
How to Upload Multiple Files
Step 1: Navigate to File Upload
- Go to your app's Community
- Create a new post or reply to an existing one
- Click the file upload icon (represented by a paperclipπ)
Step 2: Select Multiple Files
Option A: Hold and Click Method
- Hold Ctrl (Windows) or Cmd (Mac)
- Click each file you want to upload (up to 8)
Option B: Range Selection Method
- Click the first file you want
- Hold Shift
- Click the last file in the range you want (up to 8)
Step 3: Upload
- Click "Open" or "Upload"
- All selected files will upload together
Step 3: Post
- Once you are done, click the post icon

Frequently Asked Questions
I can only select one file at a time
Make sure you're holding Ctrl (Windows) or Cmd (Mac) while clicking additional files. You should see multiple files highlighted before clicking "Open."
Upload failed with multiple files
Check that each file meets size requirements:
- Videos: Maximum 500MB each
- Images: Maximum 10MB each

- Upload fewer files at once (try 3-4 instead of 8)

Files appear in wrong order
Files upload in the order you selected them, not the order they appear in your file browser. To control order, select files in the sequence you want them to appear
