We want to help you get more detailed information from your users. The “Complete Your Profile” screen will prompt them to provide key information before they gain full access to your app.

To show the “Complete Your Profile” screen, go to “My App,” select “Settings,” and ensure the “User Information” toggle is turned on.

How it works
Can I choose to show the “Complete Your Profile” screen?
Yes, you can choose whether to display the “Complete Your Profile” screen. To enable or disable it:-

- Go to “My App.”
- Select “Settings.”
- Find the “User Information” toggle.
- Turn On the toggle to show the screen or Off to hide it.

Note: If you turn the toggle off, you won’t necessarily see end-users' first names, last names, display names, or avatars if they don't want to provide it.
I already have the "User Information" toggle turned on. What now?
Great! Since it's already on, all new users will be asked to enter their first name, last name, display name, and avatar as soon as they create an account.
Your existing users will be prompted to add a display name and avatar the next time they log in to your app.
Will the “Complete Your Profile” screen replace any other screen?
Yes, it will replace the current personal details pop-up in the community section.
When will the “Complete Your Profile” screen be shown to my users?
For new users, it will appear right after they sign up. Existing users will see it the next time they open your app.
Will my existing users see the “Complete Your Profile” screen?
Yes, existing users will see this screen the next time they log in if you’ve enabled the “User Information” setting. This way you won't see "Anonymous user" in community anymore.
Can users skip the “Complete Your Profile” screen?
No, as long as the "User Information" toggle is on, users must complete the required information. If the toggle is off, they won’t be asked for their name, nickname, or avatar.
Can users leave fields blank?
No, users must enter their first and last names and either upload a photo or choose an avatar. If they leave these fields blank or use only spaces, they’ll get an error message asking them to fill in the missing details. Display names are optional.
Where will the display name be shown?
The display name will replace the first and last names on Community and Tracking if provided. You will also be able to see what a user's display name is on their profile when you go to Admin view → Users.
Can end-users edit their display and avatar name?
Yes, users can update them by:
- Going to “Profile”.
- Selecting “Account Settings”.
- Editing their display name and avatar as they wish.
