Copy and Share Links in Your App

Easily share your courses, lessons, and community spaces with your audience by copying direct links from your Passion app. These links can be used inside your app, in emails, or across social mediaโ€”helping you guide learners exactly where you want them to go.

Copy Links to Courses, Lessons, and Sequences

  1. Find the content you want to share.

  2. Tap the three dots (or tap and hold) on the course, lesson, or sequence.

  3. Select Copy link.

If youโ€™re already inside a lesson or sequence, youโ€™ll see a Copy link icon in the top-left corner under the back button.

๐Ÿ’ก Note: If you donโ€™t see the Copy link option, you may need to update your app to the latest version. Follow these guides: Update Apple app | Update Google app.

Copy Links to Communities and Channels

  1. Locate the community or channel.

  2. Tap and hold to open the menu.

  3. Select Copy link.

If youโ€™re inside a community channel, the Copy link icon appears in the top-right corner.

โœ… Both creators and users can copy and share community linksโ€”itโ€™s not limited to admins.

Add Links with the Lesson Button Widget

Use links creatively by connecting different parts of your app. For example, you can link a lesson to a community channel or guide learners from one course to another.

  1. Copy the link using the steps above.

  2. Open the lesson where you want to place a button.

  3. Add a Lesson Button Widget and paste the link into the Button URL field.

  4. Customize the button and click Save.

What Happens When Users Click Shared Links?

The experience depends on a few factors:

  • Account status: Does the user already have an account?

  • Login status: Are they logged in or not?

  • Platform: Are they using your branded app (Apple/Google) or the web app?

  • Access level: Do they have access to the linked content?

If a user clicks a link but doesnโ€™t have access, theyโ€™ll see a no access banner and be redirected to the Products/Learn page. This creates an opportunity to upsell your pricing plans.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Android users: If links always open in the browser instead of the app, check device settings:

  • Go to Settings > Apps > [Your App]

  • Tap Open by Default

  • Enable Open supported links

  • Add your appโ€™s link so it opens automatically in-app
