      How do I add a Lesson to a Course?

      1. Lesson vs Sequence

      Lessons let you use our entire widget library for video, image, text, quizzes, etc. 

      Sequences add additional features to your video content. You can use a sequence to loop a video or set a timer in a video.

      2. What is a Lesson?

      For a lesson, it lets you use our entire widget library. You can add text, upload videos & images, quizzes, and add downloadable resources to your lesson. It can be educational but doesn't have to; it is just where you share content. 

       

      3. Adding a Lesson

      • From your App, Web App, or Passion.io App, go to your Courses. 
      • Choose any of your Courses.

      • Click on the + icon to add more content.
      • You will see two options: a Lesson or a Sequence. Choose Lesson

      • Add your content's details, and add it under a Section.

      • What can I do with a Lesson widget?

      Anything! You can upload an image, video, audio, schedule, Typeform, and more! You can add a wide range of available Product Widgets to your lesson.

       

      • How do you reposition or rearrange the order of your Lessons/Sequence?

      You can rearrange the sequence of your lessons by dragging and dropping them. Once you hover over a lesson or a sequence, a 6-dotted grabber menu will appear for you to use when rearranging your content. 

       

      • Can you leave notes on Lessons? 

      For now, you can use the TypeForm widget to collect client feedback. 

       

      • How can I change or edit the cover photo of my course?

      You can always change the cover photo of your course by going to the course and clicking on the upload icon that can be found in the upper left corner of the course's page. 

       

      • What video and audio quality would my audience enjoy from my uploaded videos?

      This will mainly depend on the file quality you produce before uploading it to Passion.io; we do not process or compress the audio in the video when it is uploaded. As long as it is high-quality, your audience will enjoy the high-quality audio in the video. 

      For the whole video, as long as it is within the upload limit of 1GB / 5GB for Ultimate the video quality produced before you upload it to Passion.io will remain the same, it would only get compressed to be uploaded correctly.
