Overview of Settings

Go to Settings in the sidebar. It's your control center for your app's web address, third-party integrations, tracking, and communication preferences β€” split into a Web address card and a General card below it.

Web Address

The Web address card shows your Passion App URL (the yourappname.passion.io address your app is live at), a status badge (Live or Draft), and a Visit link to open it.

Time to get creative and make some killer logos for your app!

Your app icon and logo aren't set here β€” go to Design β†’ Look & brand to upload your App Header logo and a separate App icon (or crop your logo into one). Not a designer? Don't worry, you can create a logo easily on third-party platforms like Canva.

Watch the Canva tutorial here: https://www.canva.com/create/logos/

PS. We recommend uploading a PNG file with a transparent background and a recommended size of 1024x1024px.

General

The General card covers language, legal, integrations, and tracking. Each row opens its own settings:

  • Language β€” your app's interface language (shown as, e.g., English (US)).
  • Legal & privacy β€” terms of service, privacy policy, cookie consent.
  • Integrations β€” connect your Stripe & Zapier accounts (see β€œSet Up PassionPayments”).
  • Analytics & tracking codes β€” paste pixels & custom code to analyze your app.
  • Custom cancellation instructions β€” what members see when they cancel a subscription.
  • Support email β€” where members reach you for help from inside the app.

Tip: If you need to disconnect or troubleshoot Stripe, check the guide on PassionPayments troubleshooting.

Toggles

Three toggles sit below the General list, on the same page:

  • Member names at sign-up β€” ask members for their first and last name when they create an account. Off by default.
  • Customer receipts β€” email members a receipt for each purchase. On by default.
  • Passion.io branding β€” show a small β€œPowered by Passion” mark in your app. Off by default.
