Connect an external checkout page via Zapier

Use Zapier to connect an external checkout page (such as ThriveCart, SamCart, or ClickFunnels) to your Passion app. This allows you to automatically create orders in Passion whenever a client makes a purchase on your external checkout page.

Note: Make sure you already have your pricing plans set up and your Zapier integration with Passion connected.

Setting up the Zap trigger: New successful purchase

  1. Create a new Zap.

  2. Select your external checkout platform (e.g., ThriveCart, SamCart, ClickFunnels) as the app.

  3. Set the trigger event to New Successful Purchase (the wording may vary depending on the platform).

  4. Choose your connected account for the checkout platform.

  5. Select or input the relevant product, funnel, or checkout ID.

    1. Most platforms show this ID in the checkout URL or within product settings.

  6. Test the trigger to confirm the purchase is being recognized correctly.

 

Setting up the action: Create order

  1. Choose Passion.io as the action app.

  2. Select the action event Create Order.

  3. Connect your Passion.io account.

  4. Set up the action by adding:

    1. Contact Email

    2. First Name

    3. Last Name

  5. Select the plan to create the order.

    1. If you cannot find the plan ID, locate it in your Pricing Plan URL.

  6. Add the purchase amount.

  7. Set Send password email to TRUE.

  8. Test the action to confirm it runs successfully.

  9. Test your checkout page to ensure purchases create orders correctly.

  10. Check your Users list to confirm the new email and purchase appear.

  11. Verify that the confirmation email is sent successfully.

  12. Check if the confirmation email for the purchase is successful.
