What are Custom Notifcations?
Custom Notifications:

Send push notifications to specific audience segments.

Schedule notifications at different time intervals.

Target users who haven’t completed lessons, signed up but not subscribed, or have been inactive.
Web App and Passion.io app users cannot receive push notifications.
How to Set Up Custom Notifications

Log in to your Web App and open Admin View.

Navigate to More > Custom Notifications.

Click Create New.

Add a Title and Text for your notification.

Select your Audience Segment:

Users who signed up but haven’t purchased a plan.

Users who haven’t completed a lesson for a set number of days.
-
Users who haven’t opened your app for a set number of days.

Choose the number of days after which the notification will be sent.

Toggle the notification On.

Click Update Notification.
Example: If a user hasn’t completed a lesson in 1 day, they’ll receive a reminder. If they still don’t complete the next lesson, the same notification can repeat to encourage completion.
Tips & Advanced Use

Announce new content or live sessions: While Custom Notifications can’t send these directly, you can use Zapier to notify users via email or SMS when new content is added or events occur.

No limit on notification frequency: Users can receive the same notification multiple times for recurring reminders.
