1. What is PassionMessaging?

PassionMessaging enables you to send Push Notifications to your Apple and Android app users. You can schedule multiple notifications for various customer segments and different time intervals.

These segments can include users who haven't completed lessons, those who have signed up but not subscribed, and more.

PassionMessaging is only available on Creators' Apps (Apple/Android), so it is not available for your Web App.

 

2. How to set it up?

  • From your Web App, go to your Admin View.
  • Go to More, then Custom Notifications.

  • Create New.

  • Enter a Title for your notification. 
  • Enter a Text, which is the message you want to communicate to your audience.

  • Select the Segment of audience. 
    • Users who signed up for your app but didn't purchase any plan. 
    • Users who did not complete any lesson for a specific number of days. 
    • Users who did not open your app for a specific number of days. 
  • Select the number of days for the notification to be sent. 
  • Make sure that the notification is On.
  • Click Update Notification.

How do I send notifications for other things like new content or announce a live session?

It's not possible to send that as a notification, but you can use Zapier to send your clients an email or SMS when things happen inside the app.

Is there a limit on how often a user will receive the same notification? 

No, there's no limit to how often a user would receive the same notification. 

Example:

  • If a user has not completed a lesson for 1 day, they will receive a notification to drive their completion, which they will use to complete the lesson. 
  • If the same user does not complete the following lesson after 1 day, they will receive the same notification to remind them to do so.
