Before You Begin

Set Up Zapier

Zap Requirements

To make products available for a limited time with Passion.io, you will need to:

• Become familiar with the Delay by Zapier step by reading this article.
• Pricing plan in Passion.io [Create Pricing Plan]

Set Up Zap

To create a Zap that automatically cancels the Passion.io pricing plan after a specific timeframe:

Trigger: Plan Purchased

1. Visit Zapier.com and sign into your account.
2. Hover over + Create in the left-side panel and click Zap.
3. Click in the trigger window, and select Passion.io.
4. Set the trigger event to Plan Purchased and sign in to your Passion.io account.
5. Under Configure, select the pricing plan you’d like to limit access to.
6. Test the trigger to confirm the purchase is being recognized correctly.

Delay by Zapier

1. Click on the + sign button directly below the trigger step.
2. Search and click on Delay in the window.
3. Under Action Event, select Delay For or Delay Until.
   1. Delay Until: Ideal for calendar date-based launches/cohorts.
   2. Delay For: Ideal for products available for new subscribers year-round
4. Specify the desired time or date in the Configure tab when you’d like to remove product access.

Action: Cancel Subscription

1. Search and click on Passion.io in the window.
2. Set the trigger event to Cancel Subscription.
3. In the Configure tab, select the email address and the plan from the trigger step.
4. Test the action to confirm it runs successfully.
5. Check your Users list to confirm the new email and the cancellation.

Publish the Zap

Once the trigger and actions are correctly set up, click on the Publish button in the upper-right corner.
