      How do I use the Lesson's Widgets?

      This article is a guide to the different PassionProducts course widgets and the accepted file types and sizes for your app.

      1. Available Course Widgets

      You can add Widgets to your Courses via your Lessons.

      • Text - Insert paragraph texts and links.

      • Image - Upload any photo from your library. Sizes will be specified on every section of the platform.

      • Video - Upload your video files or insert a video link from YouTube/Vimeo.
      • Audio - Upload your audio files and podcasts.
      • Files - Upload different file types (PDF, Doc, etc.) according to preference so your clients can view and download them.
      • Button - enables the users to be routed to a specified URL.

      • Stopwatch - Insert a stopwatch timer into a lesson (or time directly by creating a sequence).

      • Calendly - Integrate with Calendly to schedule directly from the app. 

      • Typeform - Integrate a TypeForm for forms, surveys, updates, and quizzes.

      • If an external URL is used, a new tab in the browser should be opened, redirecting the user to that URL.
      • The user should be redirected to the corresponding app section for an internal URL.

      2. Accepted File Types & Sizes

      While we do not limit the number of files you can upload to your app, we recommend that your file sizes stay within the below limits. This will give your customers the best user experience possible.

      • Video: MP4 or MOV video formats with no more than 1GB upload size for the Pro Plan and 5GB upload size for the Ultimate Plan. You can use this video editor to edit or resize your video https://tinywow.com/tools/video

      • Image: Sizes will be specified on every section of the platform

      • Audio: AAC or MP3 formats only

      • File Types (PDF, Doc, etc): All

      3. Other Widget Types

      Did you know there are different types of widgets?

      Your sales page has the required widgets (header, pricing plan, and multi-pricing) to display your course offerings. You can also add the Optional widgets (feature list, FAQ, Hero image, and Carousel List) for a sneak peek of your program.

       

       

       

      4. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

      • Can I add as many widgets as I would like?

      Yes, there is no limit to the widgets you can add to your content, but we recommend dividing it into different lessons to give your clients a smoother experience.

       

      • The file type I have is not compatible with the platform. What do I do?

      You'll be able to convert your files into the suggested formats easily. Many websites and free programs offer this service. You can also check out https://convert.io/ to convert different files.

      • I need help finding the area to upload images, videos, etc.

      You first have to create a lesson to be able to add widgets. More information here: How to add a Lesson to my PassionProducts?

       

      • Can I set up some of the lessons for free?

      Yes! Just click on the ellipsis sign on the right side of the lesson material and click Set as Preview content.

       

      • Is it possible to load vertical videos on the app?

      Yes, it is possible. 

       

      • What video and audio quality would my audience enjoy from my uploaded videos?

      This will mainly depend on the file quality you produce before uploading it to Passion.io; we do not process or compress the audio in the video when it is uploaded. As long as it is high-quality, your audience will enjoy the high-quality audio in the video. 

      For the whole video, as long as it is within the upload limit of 1GB / 5GB for Ultimate, the video quality produced before you upload it to Passion.io will remain the same; it will only get compressed to be uploaded correctly.
